The End of Student Life

That’s it. After 5 long years of hard labor and torment, it has finally come to an end.

I’m not going into the details of what happened this 5 years, too lazy. I’ll post some photos about our results day, the same day we ended our student life and were given a license-to-kill each. But that’ll come later.

For now, I’ll proceed with what I’ve promised earlier.

Life in med school is tough. The suffering is inevitable. However, these are the people whom I called friends, who made a difference in my life.

In alphabetical order to minimize discrepancy.

Bo Ren – He had his mood swings and his thoughts are rather hard to read. He had this stern looking face but he’s actually very friendly. But nevertheless, he’s a been there whenever help is needed. Thanks a lot man, for watching out most of us since semester 1.

Chung – I’ll always remember you for dragging us all the way back from Mid Valley because of a girl. Priceless. Thanks for introducing me to DoTA too. It made life in Seremban bearable. And also because of that, I managed to make friends with the rest of the DoTA gang as well.

Emily – A future elderly primigravida. Thanks for helping me out in my studies, one way or another. You are undeniably one smart woman. Although I don’t understand how did I end up being your chauffeur in Batu Pahat then. I must have been tricked. You’ve deserved to be categorized as one of my “Ey!” group of friends. Very good friends are not called by their names.

Gene – When I first saw her, I thought she was darn b*t***y. First impression. However, over the years, I’ve come to realized that she’s actually a very fun person to talk to. Thanks Datok, for all the nonsense and crap we talked about, especially during our little trips back to KL. It’s really one of those memorable moments that I’ll remember.

Jill – My history with her goes way back 5 years ago when she first approached me with this question, “Do you squeeze your tooth paste from the middle or the bottom?”. Thanks for being such a great friend. Although you do irritate me at times with your positive energies but I guess it’s all good. The atmosphere’s really cheerful with you around.

Wei Shung – Being housemates for such a long time, I’ve sort of got used to his frequent mood swings. Thanks man for whatever it is. This happens when you see him too often. You don’t really know what to say. I’m sure you understand.

Vijay – The big man. He definitely stands out among the rest of us. I’ve really got to know him so much better during these past 5 months plus. And again, thanks to the trips back to KL. It’s like a blood pact we formed. No matter what the consequences are, we MUST go back to KL. Thanks man, for the jokes, laughter and humor. And I do think you have similar thoughts like mine. So I guess you being 80% Chinese is true. Big props to you.

Zeek – Not really his real name but he’s been called like that ever since… I can’t remember when. A perv truest to its nature. That’s all I got to say. Thanks for being a great buddy. And please, it’s not those kind of buddy buddy you have with Wei Shung.

Nuff’ said. Here’s a song dedicated to you guys.
